What We're Learning This Month

The first week of February we will be finishing up our habitat unit. The second week we will be learning about dinosaurs and the letter Dd. The students are so excited about the dinosaur unit and I cannot wait to learn from them! The week of the 12th will be review week and parent teacher conferences. The 20th-24th we will be learning and exploring insects and the letter Ii. The last week of February will be focused on worms (eeew!) and the letter Ww. We will also learn the sound that each letter makes and other words that start with the letter. In math, we will continue to work on patterning simple and complex, as well as Touch Math, counting, writing numbers, adding and one-to-one correspondence.
